Saso High School Prep


Job Description

We are looking for part-time teachers to teach HSPT prep classes in the summer and fall.


Availability

Must be available for one of the following two-week summer sessions from 10 am to 12 pm, Monday - Friday:
June 15th - June 26th
July 6th - July 17th
July 27th - August 7th

Must be available at least one weekday for the fall session
Monday - Friday, 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm from September to December 2020.


Responsibilities

Teachers are responsible for presenting math and English lessons, giving instruction, managing the classroom environment, proctoring exams during class, helping students one-on-one during class, managing the TA's, communicating with parents about student progress, emailing parents if work is not being completed, emailing parents a student evaluation at the end of the course, communicating with the home office.


Compensation

Earn $2,000 per 20-hour class.


Qualities & Skills

Experience with teaching or tutoring

Knowledge of math and English fundamentals

Great classroom management and strong interpersonal skills

Punctual and Responsible

Outstanding organizational skills

Energetic with a positive attitude
